KARKHEH DAM (Home page)

General information & History:

The initial study of karkheh river basin began in 1335 by an American company and then by an English company in 1345. throughout 1974 – 1979 the feasibility studies of Karkheh basin were carried out by consulting engineers of Development and resource and finally according to the previous studies D&R suggested the Karkheh Zero dam site.
