IWPC Mission Statement

 IWPC as a company affiliated to Water Resource Management Organization considers utilizing noticeable hydropower potentials throughout the country in order to generate energy as its duty. It fulfills this mission through constructing different sized dams (large, medium & small) and developing installations needed for water storage and transference. IWPC is willing to play the role of a powerful and developing organization, therefore  it attempts not only to compensate the lack of private sectors participation in investing and managing large hydropower projects, but also tries to help them be developed and take part in this scope of work.

 

To accomplish the mission, IWPC plays a key role in integrating decisions made on studying and developing the constructions and installations needed for management of water resources throughout the country.

 

IWPC is directly involved in executive project management, and moreover it tries to improve the domestic potentials and consequently to promote the hydropower management industry through developing engineering and executing private sectors.

 

IWPC Scope of Work

IWPC follows a chain of activities including studying hydropower potentials, providing financial resources (domestic and foreign), managing projects , supervising projects  implementation and operating the plants as well as transference equipments.

 

IWPC provides services and experiences in field of large project management to other client companies working on hydropower industry to get the maximum use of domestic capacities existed  in the country.

 

IWPC Beliefs and Values.

  • IWPC believes in developing capacities in private sectors such as consultants, contractors, manufacturers and investing companies working on water resources project management. IWPC emphasizes on having networked relations with competent companies. IWPC also tries to invest and provide services in areas in which there is no interest or capability for private sectors to take part in.

  • IWPC regarding the nature of its activities, has the tendency to have a small organization and cooperative network with other companies, to be more flexible and effective to implement the mission. IWPC concerns hiring the best and the experienced manpower.

  •  IWPC believes in local and geographical developments, where the hydropower projects are constructed. IWPC also tries to convince the local society to positive effects of projects and attract their participation to carry out the projects. 

  • IWPC believes in protecting environment and cultural heritage, and it will implement hydropower projects based on relevant standards.

  • IWPC considers Local Water Resources Companies as cooperative companies. IWPC also believes that its performance should be directed in a way that Regional Water Resources Companies accept IWPC as a supportive and a cooperative company.

  • IWPC applies efficient managerial patterns with respect to Information Technology. IWPC wishes to embed a culture in which effectiveness, economical efficiency, competitive potentials, flexibility and terminating monopolies to be highly respected and valued throughout organizational levels.

  • IWPC focuses on the duration of projects as the top priority in studying and implementing the projects with respect to quality and project management standards. 

  • IWPC believes the information gained in different projects as national capital and has the tendency to have open and mutual cooperation with public and private sectors.

  • IWPC believes in clear and lawful interaction with its contractors.

  • IWPC believes in delegating technical and implemental affairs to domestic companies.
